Plenary at the European Culture Forum

I was pleased to provide an overview of my research on the European Capital of Culture Programme at the 3rd EU Culture Forum, which attracted 1,200 delegates.

In my paper, I reflected on the main findings of the study I have conducted for the European Parliament on the vision, success strategies, immediate impacts and long-term effects of the European Capital of Culture Programme, from its inception in 1985 to the latest confirmed city awards for 2018.

A version of the presentation is available here. The full report will be published by the European PArliament in 2014 and will also be accessible via this website (see Projects section)
