From mid 2010 to mid 2011 I took some personal and research leave to focus on my child and on the completion of two books, ‘The Olympic Games and Cultural Policy’ and ‘The Olympics. The Basics’ (both finally out with Routledge in 2012)

I presented a keynote with the Directors of Culture at the General Directorate for Culture, European Commission and the Council of Europe. Brussels, European Commission (March).
