Co-editor of academic magazine on the cultural dimension of the Olympic Games
Culture@the Olympics is an annual publishing space for cultural concerns related to the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games. The publication is informed by the scientific research of the Olympic Games conducted by Dr Beatriz Garcia & Dr Andy Miah. Since Sydney 2000, they have received funding from learned institutions to conduct independent, evaluative research which has informed the critical, academic study of the Olympic Movement. The audience includes academics, researchers, students and practitioners. The magazine functions in collaboration with the Olympic Scholars Network (see below) and Critical Olympiad, the Olympic research blog.

Liverpool Oh! 8 provides
a digital archive of Liverpool images that narrate the many changing
experiences taking place in the city in the lead-up and during its year
as European Capital of Culture. Images are organised across six main
themes: CITYspaces, CREATIVEsites, URBANchange, BRANDactivism,
CULTURALevents, STREETlife.
Co-authorship of a website and electronic group on Olympic-related research
The Olympic Scholars Network is a web-based project designed to generate awareness and discussion about current social issues, new research, and critical matters relating to the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games. The central aspect of the project is the maintenance of a discussion group and the distribution of news on the field.
Creation and maintenance of a web-site and electronic group on
international cultural policy initiatives
The International Forum for Cultural Policy is a web-based project aimed at linking international research and institutions dedicated to the study and development of cultural policy initiatives. The web-site is aimed at promoting an interactive forum (e.group) and offering direct links to online materials (e.links). The links are organised in the following categories: university programmes, university research centres, on-line papers, personal homepages, institutions and foundations, cultural policy networks, journals and magazines, events and projects.
